All Kids are Super Stars at Helen Doron Czech Republic

Czech franchise celebrates 15-year milestone in style!

Talent abounded as Helen Doron English in the Czech Republic recently celebrated their 15-year birthday. Featuring an exciting showcase event for students, parents and Czech franchisees—as well as the personal participation of Helen Doron, Founder and CEO of the global franchise,  the celebration included a “Super Star” students’ song contest, just like The Voice, and a special “Teen Quest” video competition for the teen students.

Recent winner of 2019 Best Children’s and Education Franchise award, the global Helen Doron network is famous for its innovative methodology in teaching English naturally through fun and music, and for empowering children to be conscientious contributors to their communities, while fulfilling their own potential.

In keeping with the Helen Doron community’s dedication to providing the very best experience in English for children, Marek Halfar, National Franchisor for the Czech Republic, officially launched his cutting-edge learning centre in Opava, with Helen Doron personally cutting the ribbon.

Mr. Halfar proudly recalls the global franchise’s progressive growth in his country. “Fifteen years ago we began with one learning centre, and we now have more than 8,500 students, 80 franchisees and 250 teachers. We also operate the largest authorized Cambridge test centre in the Czech Republic, and all of our students excel on the Cambridge exams, thanks to the unique and innovative methodology taught by the best-trained teachers in the industry. We truly provide English for life.”

Helen Doron enthuses, “We are very pleased with what Marek Halfar has accomplished in his country. He is very creative and ambitious, continually coming up with exciting new ideas for innovative projects and initiatives. Marek’s professional team is always working to further expand into the Czech market and empower the students in his region with tools to succeed in life.”

Mr. Halfar concluded, “Parents are very aware that in order for their children to get into the best universities and succeed in the international arena, they must possess an excellent grasp of the English language. Our goal is to make that goal achievable for as many Czech children as possible. ”

More Than a Business. A Way of Life.

Founded in 1985 to teach children English as a Foreign Language, the Helen Doron Educational Group has more than 1,000 learning centres and kindergartens in 37 countries. Helen Doron’s innovative and proven methodology is the creative inspiration behind the company’s flagship franchise, Helen Doron English, together with Helen Doron Kindergartens, MathRiders, and Ready Steady Move!  To date, the Group has taught nearly three million children to speak English, master maths, experience nature, and learn through movement. The network is rapidly expanding, while maintaining its core values and community spirit, combined with business success. We seek additional franchisees to penetrate new markets and business partners to expand its rich educational content and continue breaking new boundaries in children’s education.
